Safe Working at Height Awareness

The Safe Working at Height Awareness course ensures that learners are aware of the risks envolved with working at height and are able to select appropriate control measures to minimise those risks. In addition learners will be able to carry out pre-use checks, maintain, correctly store, don and adjust personal fall protection equipment.

The course is delivered with a mix of classroom based and hands-on practical exercises.

Aims & Objectives This course is designed to give delegates an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of those planning and those carrying out work at height and an introduction to the equipment and methods available and where they sit within the hierarchy of controls. Care of equipment, pre-use inspection, fitting and adjustment of equipment is also covered.
