The ladder safety system from CSS Worksafe provides a means of securing a ladder to almost any vertical surface and preventing it from moving when in use.   The ladder safety system provides a fall arrest system to protect workers from falls from heigh and a work positioning system that allows workers to use both hands for the task without compromising safety.  

  • Works with any EN 131 or BS 2037 Class 1 ladder of aluminium, wooden or GRP construction.
  • Subjected to extensive laboratory and field testing the system is reliable and safe for users weighing up to 136kgs / 21½ stone / 300lbs.
  • Supplied in a kit bag and weighing less than 5kgs the ladder safety system is easy to store and transport.
  • The fall protection system is installed and the ladder secured from the ground, before climbing, ensuring user safety from the ground, up to the work position and back again.
  • Taking only a minute or two to set up the system is quick to implement ensuring worker compliance.
  • Extremely quick fall arrest ensures minimal loading. Typically less than 3kN for a 136kg worker.
  • In the event of a fall the user can quickly and safely recover themselves back to the ladder making the system ideal for the lone worker.
